Social Gaming Experience in the iconic Lusail Stadium for Upland

Upland & NOWHERE Launch Custom Race Game, Track Hero, Where Players Race for Stakes While Make New Friends.

Challenge:

Upland, a 3 million player leading web3 platform, wanted to level up the player experience by introducing a social gaming experiences centered inside iconic monuments on their real world map. The goal was to collaborate with the owner of Lusail Stadium, Qatar to build a fun, sticky race game that engages current players & helps attract new players.

Solution:

NOWHERE studio concepted, pitched, built, & engineered Track Hero, a custom-built track and field race game set inside the Lusail Stadium Monument. This experience, is accessible to anyone on the internet or through the Upland mobile app API integration. This allows players to compete in thrilling races while spectators hangout & watch live in 3D from within the stadium. This interactive race game not only offers competitive gameplay but transforms the Lusail Stadium into a social & entertainment hub where players gather, spectate, & host events.

Results:

Track Hero delivers an exciting new level of interaction in the Upland platform. Players can stake UPX(in game currency) to become the top racer on daily, weekly, & seasonal leaderboards to win UPX & prizes. Audience members can purchase “Detractors” to deploy during the races to make the course more complicated for the racers. Avatar Skins can be purchased at the Merch booth and soon boosters to make you run faster or jump higher.
